On April 25, 14 YuTong hydrogen buses equipped with FTXT’s products were delivered to Chang Shu Urban and Rural Bus Company and put into operation.

The 14 hydrogen buses delivered this time are 10.5 meters long and 3.3 meters high, equipped with the 80kW fuel cell engine independently developed by FTXT. They are featured with high efficiency, low hydrogen consumption, low noise, zero emission, and can start at low temperature (-30℃). Besides, their operation is characterized by stability with high riding comfort and no vibration.

After the kickoff of the project, this batch of buses will be used to undertake important trunk transportation tasks between Changshu Economic Development Zone and the main urban area, through Binjiang Sports Park, Binjiang Science and Technology Innovation Center, as well as a number of key enterprises and universities located in the economic development zone. The maximum load of vehicles is 80 people, which can fully meet the operation requirements of urban bus application scenarios.

This is the successful implementation of the cooperation model between FTXT and YuTong bus, which is also another large-scale implementation case of FTXT in the field of hydrogen buses after Shanghai Lingang Area demonstration. It marks that FTXT is actively building the market ecology of hydrogen energy and accelerating the commercialization development of hydrogen energy in China.
