Recently, the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Commercial Vehicle Industry Technology Research Institute led by GWM-FTXT has received official approval and public announcement from the Chinese government, marking its entrance into the construction phase.

By focusing on the development and innovation needs of the fuel cell vehicle industry, and integrating industrial technology innovation resources, this institute will carry out scientific and technological innovation activities such as the research and development of key generic technology, the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the supply of technological innovation services, the training of talents, and industrial development strategy research. These activities are to the benefit of establishing a high-standard public technological research and development platform for the industry in China.

Concurrently, the institute is poised to pursue foundational and forward-looking research in the field of hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles with a market-oriented approach. Its research directions encompass high-density onboard hydrogen storage systems and critical components, efficient fuel cell power systems and optimization technologies, essential testing and evaluation techniques for vehicle fuel cells, specialized chassis and energy management strategies for hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles, as well as strategic development initiatives within the fuel cell vehicle industry.

Lead by FTXT, key enterprises in the hydrogen energy industry chain, research institutes, and universities jointly established the "Hydrogen Fuel Cell Commercial Vehicle Industry Technology Research Institute," showcasing FTXT's technological prowess, industry standing, and influence in the hydrogen sector. Simultaneously, this initiative will further propel the high-quality development of China's hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicle industry.
