On April 10, the GWM FTXT held the 2023 annual launch event about liquid hydrogen strategy and new products - "H POWER DAY".

FTXT will further expand its ecological layout, officially launch its vertically integrated liquid hydrogen strategy, and implement China's first liquid hydrogen ecosystem demonstration project.  This demonstration project includes the full cycle of liquid hydrogen application from hydrogen production, liquefaction, transportation, refueling, and end-customers’ applications.  This project has broken through many carbon reduction barriers of medium and long-haul trucks application.

At the same time, FTXT has released several innovative products   to apply the advancement from short-medium distance transportation to long-haul transportation, and fully support the effective carbon reduction in inland ships, construction machinery, aircraft, and other large scale application scenarios.

l  Target to heavy-duty traffic field: "Jupiter" onboard liquid hydrogen storage system breaks through the technical problems of hydrogen storage efficient,  and a single hydrogen storage cylinder can store more than 80 kg of H2, achieving more than 8wt % hydrogen storage density of liquid hydrogen, and a driving range of more than 1,000km.

l  Target to hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicle: the second generation of 70 MPa – 57L Ⅳ has the hydrogen storage density reached 6.1wt %, far exceeding the 2025 hydrogen storage density of 5.5wt% target set  by the United States Department of Energy (DOE).

l  Target to hydrogen HDV medium-long haul truck application scenarios: FTXT has successfully developed a 300+kW flexible graphite plate stack, and achieved the 0.65mm flexible graphite plate thickness, maximum efficiency of 68%, peak power density exceeding 4.0kW/L, design life up to 30,000 hours. In addition, FTXT has achieved 100% domestic and independent development of key components, and its comprehensive performance indicators reached the international advanced level.

Moreover, by focusing on the ecological construction of the market, FTXT and  Chinese Energy Enterprises will jointly build 100 hydrogen refueling stations.  In addition, FTXT will also signed  strategic purchase orders with well-known Chinese vehicle enterprises and steel enterprises to put 650 hydrogen fuel cell heavy duty trucks into operation.   Furthermore,  FTXT will reach the strategic collaboration with China Automotive Industry Center on carbon trading to jointly explore carbon trading standards for hydrogen energy applications. Through the "two-wheel" drive strategy of market ecology and product ecology, FTXT will commit in  getting through hydrogen source, cost, service, finance, and other segments, enable the ecological construction of the hydrogen energy industry chain, promotes  the large-scale development of China's hydrogen energy industry, and share scientific research results  and operational experience with the world to help  to the global green, low-carbon, and sustainable development.
